We’re NOW HIRING for enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with positive attitude for a Full time Private Banking Officer located in the FCBank Westerville Office.

Highly skilled personal bankers able to attract, discover, evaluate and advise high-income/high-net worth individuals that meet CNB Bank’s requirements for qualifying as private banking clients. Expertise in retail and mortgage lending, as well as retail deposit origination is essential. Building and servicing a network of targeted clients and COIs for referrals is paramount to success in Private Banking.

PROVIDE ENHANCED CLIENT SERVICE

Private Banking Officers provide an extremely high level of personal service, integrity, expertise, teamwork and follow-up. They can understand sophisticated financial situations and develop strategies to address client’s needs. As part of a team of financial professionals, Private Banking Officers refer clients to other teammates, such as Wealth & Asset, Commercial Lending, Treasury Management and Retail Banking, as well as follow up with referrals from other teammates. Has effective conversations with clients, teammates, support staff, COIs, Regional Presidents, management and other business partners, such as Realtors, settlement agents, attorneys and accountants.

POSITION FOR LONG-TERM GROWTH

Develops strategies to address client’s immediate needs while considering impact on long-term financial health. Foster relationships with clients, not transactions. Understands credit and collateral risks and makes recommendations accordingly.

Private Banking Officers possess a high degree of technical abilities. Do you have significant training and expertise in mortgage and retail lending, deposit origination, compliance, software, and business development techniques and strategies? They continuously seek additional opportunities for learning new skills, sharpening existing skills and keeping updated on current regulations, software improvements, and other important current information. Advancement to higher levels in this position are available and awarded to those that produce significant growth and show leadership capabilities. Some travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to perform each crucial job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. Mortgage and Retail Banking experience is required. Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college; or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Position level will be commensurate with knowledge, experience and education.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to utilize telephone systems and possess good digital literacy including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn core software system, loan and deposit origination software, Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, as well as other software typically utilized in the banking industry.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve exciting problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position operates in a professional office environment with time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers as well as travel to clients for one-on-one meetings. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
