WORK/LIFE BALANCE

Hours of operation: Sunday 12-5, Monday-Friday 9-6, Saturday 9-5.
Although schedules vary, generally you would work 40-45 hours a week.

GENERAL SUMMARY

As the F&I Manager, you are part of the Sales Team as well as the bridge to the Back Office for all sales related deal paperwork. The primary role of this position is to work closely with the sales department to secure approvals for financed deals, prepare the paperwork and complete the closings for the customer who purchase RVs, organize the deal files after the closings including washing the deals within 24 hours of contracting, and ensuring the bank funding within 7 banking days. Additionally, converting cash buyers to finance buyers as well as selling aftermarket ancillary products as a key part of this responsibility.

JOB TASKS

  • Receive deals from the Sales department and assist with ensuring paperwork from sales staff is accurate and complete
  • Submit deals to our lender partners for approval. Work diligently to seek approvals, even where approvals may not be readily available.
  • Spot delivered customers when directed to by store GM
  • Prepare all bank contract and state tag & title related paperwork for closings
  • Conduct closings with customers and ensure all necessary documents are accurate, signed, and we meet compliance with all bank and state requirements
  • Work closely with the sales desk to convert cash buyers to finance buyers
  • Sell extended parts & labor agreements (VSC), GAP coverage, Roadside Plus, Multi-Seal, and RV Appearance (P&F) ancillary products to generate revenue through the finance office.
  • Provide customers with clear and thorough explanations of the products they are purchasing and adhere to company compliance policies
  • Maintain minimum established PVR (per vehicle retailed) for revenue in the finance office.
  • Provide customers with clear and thorough explanations of the manufacturer warranty of the new vehicle they are purchasing.
  • Issue tags to customers at closing using the state tag system
  • For out of state customers, determine if state is reciprocal and tax is to be collected and remitted through Florida. Also, if out of state and not reciprocal, determine if we are to collect any taxes for the customer and remit to their state or county through the deal.
  • For incoming trades, secure a clear title in closing. Also, have manager sign and approve the inspection of the incoming trade prior to closing.
  • After closings, ensure deals are washed within 24 hours of delivery. Follow up immediately with service to have internal RO’s closed prior to washing deal. Submit contract to bank for funding, organize deal and scan to back office.
  • Cash Flow Score policy. A deal must fund within 7 banking days. 24 – hour wash policy and funding policy will reflect a Cash Flow Score (CFS) in TC360 F&I TASKHUB which will be assessed to 50% of the department net revenue (after chargebacks) an example: all deals washed in a 24-hour period is 100% and deals funded within 5 banking days was at 90% the average of the two would be 95% CFS which the Finance Manager would receive 95% of 50% of net revenue for that month. 50% of net revenue is protected. $10K net revenue for month, $5k protected the other $5k assessed at 95% would equate to $4750.00 totaling $9750.00 net pay for said month.
  • Additionally, after closing, for new vehicles submit warranty registration to a manufacturer
  • Prepare a monthly sales commission report and submit timely to the Finance Director for payroll
  • Utilize the F&I deal checklist for every deal. Make sure all items on the F&I deal checklist are completed and signed off on
  • Follow Travelcamp’ s policy guidelines for Lender relations
  • Provide training and support to sales team and service advisors for finance products we offer to ensure the sales team is up to date on the product and can assist to sell
  • Menu every customer to offer ALL applicable ancillary products along with a signed and time stamped declination page by Finance Manager and customer.

EVALUATION

  • Ability to get deals approved by the bank
  • Timeliness of getting deals approved and responses to the sales team
  • Thoroughness of deals as per checklists
  • Adherence to contract washing and funding policy
  • Ensure no tag or title transfers take more than 30 days
  • Established minimum ($3,500.00) PVR goal achievement

You will also be evaluated on other factors, such as good attendance, positive attitude, and teamwork
